how the almost transparent emulsion lends prints a fantastic sense
of reality. As if you're looking through the photograph, into the
original scene...
If
you have a digital camera, you really should give Cibachrome a try
- you'll have images which you thought were great on screen but often
disappointing when printed - you'll be delighted when you see them
as Cibachromes.
Cibachrome,
because of it's emulsion structure, scatters hardly any of the light
exposing it.
With Océ's LightJet using RGB lasers to write directly onto
the paper, without any lenses, this means crisp definition.
300 dpi continuous tone imaging provides a visual resolution of 4,000
dpi.
Turnaround
for Digital Cibachrome prints is a week to 10 days.
